The annual Revenue Accounting Meeting is the venue at which decisions are made regarding the rules and procedures published in the Revenue Accounting Manual. Global Air Navigation Industry Symposium (GANIS)Preparation for the Twelfth Air Navigation Conference
The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) invites its Member States, industry players, sponsors and exhibitors to the Global Air Navigation Industry Symposium to be held in Montréal from 20 - 23 September 2011. Be part of a unique event that will bring together the aviation industry, air navigation service providers and States. The Symposium will provide a platform for global and regional industry partners to share their latest developments, thus identifying commonalities/differences between the systems to ensure interoperability and facilitate the harmonization of air navigation systems. The opportunity to discuss emerging issues and to chart out the next steps to achieve a seamless global air navigation system will be the primary objectives of this global event. It will be particularly relevant to the Aviation System Block Upgrades and the Communications, Navigation and Surveillance Roadmaps leading up to the Twelfth Air Navigation Conference, which will take place in 2012.

WORLD ROUTE DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY SUMMIT
The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) will once again be partnering with The World Bank and for the first time, UBM Aviation, to organize an aviation strategy summit, renamed the "World Route Development Strategy Summit" – a single, powerful, global, aviation leader's summit. This Summit, to be co-located again with Routes which is now a subsidiary of UBM Aviation, will combine elements from previous ICAO/World Bank/Routes fora namely the Global Aviation Strategic Summit ( GASS ), with those traditionally held solely by Routes – ACED1 ,TAS2 and Air Cargo Conferences. Global route development and aviation stakeholders at large, will benefit from high-level discussions concerning the current state of the aviation sector, in particular, the most significant challenges facing the route development industry.

ICAO AVIATION AND SUSTAINABLE ALTERNATIVE FUELS WORKSHOP
Sustainable alternative fuels are a key element of the strategy toward reducing the carbon footprint of aviation.This ICAO Workshop is an opportunity to enhance dialogue among States, financial institutions, fuel producers and operators regarding access to financing for sustainable alternative fuels projects.
Building upon the achievements of the ICAO Workshop and Conference on Aviation and Alternative Fuels held in 2009, and the results of the 37th Session of the ICAO Assembly in 2010, this ICAO Workshop provides a forum for the exchange of information on the state of worldwide activities on sustainable alternative fuels for aviation. Among others, discussions will revolve around the state of the global harmonization of life cycle analysis methodologies, sustainability criteria, and legal and regulatory frameworks which ensure the availability of supplies of sustainable alternative fuels for aviation.
The Workshop will also address the role of sustainable alternative fuels as part of the measures available to States for inclusion in their action plans to reduce CO2 emissions.
